<p>The message means that the stock has been assigned to one or more accounts, you can only delete a stock if it has been removed from all accounts first.</p>
<p>BUT removing a stock means removing all transactions in all accounts that involved that stock, so for example all dividends received. So it has the potential to destroy the data integrity of any remaining accounts.
