Report to show security purchases
I am trying to find a way to print a report that shows all stock purchases for 3 different investment accounts. Any ideas?

Are you after actual buys txns or to total the stocks held over several accounts?

Hi enich,
Give the Investment Transactions Report a try.
When setting the parameters, be sure that the 'Account' parameter is not ticked otherwise the report generated will be limited to only 1 account.

Stuart,
I am looking for a way to list all the buy transactions with their amounts as well as the total amount spent. This could be for one account at a time or all three.

Have you tried the Investment Transactions Report?

Yes but I don’t see a way to just get only the buys and not all of the other transactions.

Hi enich,
In the Investment Transactions Report, set the 'Subtotal By' parameter to 'Subtotal by Action'.
It will still report on all of the transactions but the 'Buy' transactions will be totaled separately.

... and another method... I have an extract that can dump your investment data to csv for opening in Excel... You can then filter on Buys... It's called extract_investment_transactions_csv - available here:
