I have 3 brokers whom I use for intraday/ delivery/ futures. a stocks ( eg abc) may be deal in all three categories on the same day. Is there any way where once you add a new stock eg abc in the securities list using the tools function this stock gets shown in all three accounts ie interday delivery futures. At present I add the stock abc by going to add security function in interday then delivery then futures which is time consuming. Why cannot MD once the stock name is created using the tools function be able to retrive the information already updated in Md
Technically, a stock held in an investment account is not actually a stock.. it’s a sub account. Hence the add function, adds a sub account. This account holds a balance, which happens to be the qty of stock (instead of money) and its currency is the stock...

Just explaining the ‘behind the scenes’. When you consider this, I can see why these are not auto created.

I would think it would be somewhat unusual for the average user to want a single security in every investment account they may have.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490611832021-03-01T10:07:42Z2021-03-01T10:07:42Zmultiple brokers

HI Stuart
