Asset allocation for ETF's
Greetings
I own several ETF's which cover many different sectors of the market. For instance, one ETF holds 57% Financials, 20% Energy, 10% Industrials, 7% Consumer Staples and 6% Technology.
I know for each security you can select the type of security, however in the sub-type you can only select one. Is there a way of using multiple sectors for the sup-type? If not could this be considered a suggestion for future versions.
Thank you

Hi davestirling1
Under SECURITY DETAIL tab – EDIT SECURITY – Subtype EDIT then + you can add your own sub type to the list and use that.
Hope this helps

Thank you for your response
I don't think you understand what I'm asking. I know that I can add my own
sub type, but I cannot assign multiple sub types to one stock. What I am
asking for is to be able to say break down the sub types into percentages
of how much is allocated. As I said, many ETF's have 8 or 9 sub categories.

Hi davestirling1
No, what you want to do is not a current feature.
Perhaps raise it in the Suggestion section.
