deleting prices history

Are there any routines out there that will go through each security and delete a large chunk of price history? The idea is to condense the size of the data file and reduce load time.

Try Stuart Beesley's Toolbox. You can install it from the Manage Extensions menu.
It has an option to do thinning and purging of securities. You can run it without deleting anything to see if you get what you want.

As DanP says, toolbox can do this for you. 

However, I doubt this is the cause of of your large dataset and slow load time. Are you on MD2021.1? Also in Toolbox is a button to analyse your dataset objs and size. Might be useful to run that and post the results here.

    Yup, your objects are tiny...

I really need to see the report including the lines above the ones you sent. The first section details your file sizes etc.... And the TOTAL line after the bit you sent too....

Also, FYI - I note: Object: oltxns 70 2865.1 (containing 3558 Online Txns consuming 2741.2 KBs).. These are cached downloaded txns and the cache should be empty. After a backup you can run Toolbox>Online Banking Tools>View your online Txns report and then if you like the Delete All Cached OnlineTxnList Records option.

OK, your whole dataset is tiny and very clean. The only file that you could consider deleting is:

    C:\Users\blair\.moneydance\Documents\Blair.moneydance\safe\archive\202104.mdtxnarchive (11.8MB) - but I wouldn't bother.

You also only have a few files, and a few objects... So there is nothing to make your MD load time slow.

So, can you clarify what you mean by slow load time?

Perhaps post your console output (Menu, Help, Console Window)..
