Why can't I transfer assets to another account?
I had to move an IRA from one Trust company to another. The Xfr action does not let me move the stocks from the old company to the new one, despite that being exactly what happened. Why can't I do that in Moneydance? Having to "sell" the stock, move the money and then "buy" the stock again seems to loose all links to the original purchase date or price. That is just wrong!

Correct.. MD cannot xfr shares.. You have to buy / sell... And yes you lose the links to the purchase you were mentioning... It's been this way for years and many people have requested this.....
