How to correctly manage cryptos with <$1c price?

I recently added a few SHIB coin to my account, which is priced at ~$0.0004. Even though I choose decimal places to 8, I can still see $0.00 price, and when using quote loader to download, the price downloaded is always $0.00, therefore no way to save.

Any suggestions on managing such low price coins? Thanks!

What version of MD? 2022 shows more dpc in tools/securities.

Oh, I am on 2022 (4056), and using Tools, I can see decimal places is already 8, which should be enough for this crypto, but on quote loader, and on investment account's profile view page, all shows only the price with 2 digits, which is $0.00

In QL you set the dpc on the screen parameters.

What dpc did u set for this security?

Use toolbox, security menu, view hidden decimals report to see.

Hmmm, i missed the DPC option on QL. That worked. Thanks

Is there anyway to also change the displaying DPC on profile view of investment accounts?

I'm also dealing with the dpc settings. It looks like if I go past a certain amount. Maybe 12 DPC, things start to mess up and I get incorrect shares.
I've tried 16 DPC which was working for a while, but when I tried to enter a share quantity like1,243 it auto converts to 601.6744073709551616.
Any ideas? Do I need to set less DPC?

    Refer this thread:

You are correct... as you increase the whole quantity of shares, then you lose decimals after the point... So you need to work out the maximum whole digits you need, and sacrifice decimal digits accordingly....
