Recording Shares Given by your employer to our Investment Account

Hi there,

I'm having difficulties entering shares my employer deposits directly to my Investment Account every second week.

In Quicken, I use the action "Added," then I select the security from a drop-down menu, the number of shares, and the current price. Then Quicken would calculate the Invest Amount, and that was the end of it. I cannot do the same using MoneyDance, first because the Action "Added" doesn't exist. What is the best option in this case?

Thank you!

    Hi Stuart,

Thanks for getting back to me. I created an Income Category for the shares
and entered them as "buyxfer" to that account, so I would keep a cash
    balance. That worked great.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Jay
