Downloading from Fidelity Investments
I opened an account with Fidelity in December 2020. I didn't download until today. It only went back to July for transactions. I called fidelity. They said Quicken has a way to go back and get historical transactions. But they didn't know anything about Moneydance. Is there a way to get transactions back to 4th Quarter 2020?

just a user - never say you are using Moneydance, say you are using Quicken.
They use the same methodology to download OFX, but once you say Moneydance, most banks dismiss you.
Now, to answer your question. Different banks allow downloads of different lengths of data. I've seen as short as 3 months and as long as 18 months.
Sounds like July is as far as it goes - about 4 months. The same would be true with Quicken, as again, it's the same download.
Hope that helps.
