Wanted: spin off process
When can we expect a real method of handling spinoffs? The recommended method doesn't work correctly for my lot-matched holdings (I've had to change them to avg costing). I've had to account for 4 spinoffs in the last 18 months and it's a bit frustrating. I saw a post suggesting a ROC action that seems to make sense for spinoffs.
