I have transferred from Quick 2004 and would like to know how to change an acct type.
Quicken had separate cash accounts for investment accounts and I chose the investment account type on import.

    Hello,

    In general, once an account type has been set and has data in it, the type of account cannot be changed. You will likely need to start over with a new data file (File -> New from the menu bar) and make sure to set up your accounts correctly from the start.
