Bug in Capital Gain Calculations
There is a bug in the Capital Gain calculations under some circumstances. One when there are multiple sales transactions for the same date and the other when there is a split between the buy and sell. I've documented the second in the attachments.
Summary to reproduce: buy and sell everything before a split. Then buy stock, have it split, the sell. The sell capital gains are not correct for those sales and for the unrealized final transaction.
The documentation attached shows all the transactions for Apple in MD, the MD report of capital gains, and the manual calculations (which are correct).
NOTE: The attached is only one of many instances where the capital gains is incorrectly calculated when there is a split involved.
