I remember when downloading a transaction from schwab, if nothing matched an existing security, Moneydance would setup the investment for you, automatically. Since Charles Schwab messed with us in late 2021, that feature seems to have disappeared, at least for me. That , plus bonds and treasuries have never been Moneydance strong suit, has made me use Moneydance more as a cashflow forecaster rather than an investment analyzer. Not being critical, but wish something like a 'Personal Capital that allowed one to input future transactions' would emerge as a product. At any rate, that will probably never happen. Until then, Moneydance is only game in town. Will never go back to that POS called Intuit Quicken.
