Graph of account value grouped by month
I don't understand the results that are shown in an "account value" graph grouped by month (or one of the other time groupings that are available). When I hold the cursor over a point that has been plotted, a small text shows on the graph with the month name and the account "value" for that month. But the value doesn't make sense to me. It's not the balance at the start of the month, it's not the balance at the end of the month, nor is it the average of balances that have been calculated for any transactions that were entered during the month. I don't even think that it is the daily average of the account for the month. What is the value that is displayed for the points plotted on the graph?

I think that I have found the answer to my own question. I think that the balance that is shown for a plotted point is actually the average daily balance for the previous month up to that point. Can anyone confirm this?
