transaction download category errors
When I download investment transactions (via Plaid), the category assigned by MD defaults to the first entry in the categories list. For example, a transaction with Action correctly downloaded as "Div", the category assigned by MD is "ACE LIMITED", not "Dividend Income". I suppose that the Find/Replace extension can be used to repair these, but that is still an effort. Is there a better solution?

I'm a fellow user.
As you assign categories and then confirm transactions Moneydance will start to "learn" the association between description and categories and provide better suggestions as to the appropriate category.
