Handling Cash sweep accounts for brokerage accounts
TD Ameritrade (and I'm sure others) offer FDIC and SPIC insured accounts. When the brokerage account downloads transactions, these show up as a security. is it possible to have a sub account for these so they will show up as a sweep account under the main security account.

I use Fidelity, which has one of these... I can't find a way to do what you requested, I just have to occasionally do a fake buy/sell (since Fidelity doesn't report a sweep) to move the money from cash to the sweep account.

And of course those transactions never get a blue open circle, as they are never reported from Fidelity.
