Moneydance requiring Security field for everything
I have some cash in an Investment account. I just want to register the transaction of wiring some money out (MiscExp). Moneydance is requiring that the Security field have something entered. None of the options in the list (all the securities I have had in the account) would make sense. This comes up for everything involving cash of course (i.e., MiscInc, MiscExp). Any way of avoiding this? Or suggestions for a workaround? Moneydance seems to really struggle to handle cash in brokerage accounts.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

You can use the Xfr action type, or you can switch to the Bank register and enter transactions like you would in a bank account.
