Historical transactions from Fidelity
I'm establishing investment accounts in Moneydance.
I have created an investment account for this IRA brokerage account.
I have created mutual fund securities.
I've added these (initial) securities to the initial share balance for each mutual fund in the account.
I logged into Fidelity account and downloaded the transaction history into a .csv file. I don't see where Fidelity provides a way to generate a QIF file.
Upon attempting to import the .csv file, I don't see the option for me to select the investment account I want Moneydance to import the transactions into.
Your help is much appreciated,
Joel

Hi Joel,
As a Fidelity client, I can tell you that Fidelity is a financial institution that supports direct-connect connections to Moneydance.
For more information on Online Banking, look to pg. 7 and Chapter 4 of the 2015 Moneydance User Guide
http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/user-guides/moneydance-2015-user-guide
CSV files can only be imported into Bank and Credit Card accounts.

Hi Joel,
You're welcome.
You may or may not only get, say 90 days worth of historical data from Fidelity thru direct-connect, unless you're lucky. :)
It's unfortunate that they (Fidelity) don't make their data (our data) available in the de facto standard OFX format.

thanks again Kevin.
What I did was establish the balances for my 3 IRAs. I've setup the online connection to my account.
I successfully downloaded transactions for one of the accounts. But then noticed that I didn't have a few securities added to the account. So I deleted the transactions that were downloaded and then added the missing securities.
Now when I attempt to download the transactions, MD provides a status "Downloaded zero transactions for...".
Is there something I need to reset in order for the transactions to download again?
Joel

Hi Joel,
Try this...
Open Moneydance to the account in question.
From the menu bar, go to Online > Set Up Online Banking.
In the resulting window, click the 'Reset Sync' button.
