Don't understand basis calculation after stock split and subsequent sales

I purchased 10 shares of this stock . The stock split 10 for 1. Subsequently I sold a portion of the stock in two separate transactions. Attached is a document showing transactions and the security detail.

My calculations would indicate the remaining basis should be 3525.38. (5892.3/100 = 58.92 per share)
60 shares * 58.92 = 3535.38.

Instead the basis appears as -7070.76. Negative 2 * the remaining basis.
I am either missing something or the calculation of cost basis is wrong in the security detail.

    Questions.
    1. What version of MD? You need the latest Alpha to get the latest CB calculation engine (it’s been rewritten)
    2. Average or LOT control?

PS. Quickly using a calculator I also get £3,535.38.

So, from this I deduce you are not using MD2024 and you are using Average Cost basis?

Assuming I’m correct, you will need 2024, but due to the splits you will need the alpha build 5129… really this is for testing only.

    Thank you for responding.

    1. I am using MD 2024.1. (5118).

    2. As best I know I am using average basis. I honestly don’ know how to set this.

That is odd. 5118 should be ok.

I’ll test this scenario out tomorrow…

Just checked the code. This scenario was fixed after 5118. So you need a MD2024.2 build. Probably Moneydance 2024.2 (5129) Or later.
I expect this will go PREVIEW soon.

I'd wait for the preview unless you enjoy testing alpha versions. But as Stuart says, it is very close to beta (i.e. preview)...

Just to confirm/prove to you (and me) that the update will fix this, I just tested it... It's all OK. See screenshots from 5118 and then the latest 5219.
