Quote loader - price error in FT Feed
I've been running quote loader successfully for a few years now against several portfolios of UK listed securities in my moneydance files, using the FT price feed. option. There are occasional blips and price aberrations but they usually correct within a day or two.
One that has recently been consistently incorrect is ISF, which I imagine is a very widely held ETF tracking the FTSE 100. For over a week now the price has been out by a multiple of 100. Not sure how to report this problem ?

Hi
I assume you mean the iShares Core FTSE 100 UCITS ETF GBP. It has a
ticker of ISF:LSE:GBX on ft.com. It has a price of 811.90 which
QuoteLoader will change to 8.1190. GBX is a pseudo currency indicating
the price is in pence so to match MD using GBP (pound) for its prices QL
does the conversion. Has the ticker changed recently?

Thanks
Here is what I get. The price is out by a factor of a hundred. I don’t think the ticker has changed because I use yahoo prices elsewhere and the ticker remains the same.

Hi gandrews82
Assuming your security is iShares Core FTSE 100 UCITS ETF GBP (Dist) then your ticker of ISF is wrong.
As Mike stated it should be ISF:LSE:GBX
As far as FT is concerned ISF alone is the security ticker for Isfelag hf whose Trade Currency is Icelandic krona (ISK) as can be seen from your screen shot.
Hope this helps

If you use a ticker of ISF on its own ft.com is replying with ISF:ICX
which is the Icelantic Stock exchange and the price is in currency ISK.
Change your ticker to ISF:LSE:GBX and you should get the LSE price and
QL will convert it correctly.
You can change the ticker either in QL using the Alt Ticker field or
change it in the Securities edit screen.

Hi gandrews82
If you want to use Yahoo instead of FT then select Yahoo as the Source and in the Alt Ticker field add ISF.L
You can then switch Sources back and forward without having to make any other changes. See screen shot.
Hope this helps

OK, thanks, that worked. It has been working for several years as it was (until last week). Will bear that in mind for future.
thanks for your help Mike and Derek.
