How to read stock quotes from Google Finance instead of Yahoo Finance for some stocks?
I have an investment in a South African stock called Famous Brands Ltd.
On Google Finance the ticket symbol is FBR which shows the correct stock quote, my problem is that FBR on Yahoo Finance is a different stock. And the ticket symbols I can find on Yahoo Finance for Famous Brands does not show the correct quotes.
How do I force Moneydance and the Quotes and Exchange Rate Extension to read the data from Google Finance over Yahoo Finance for this stock?

I am afraid it is not possible to specify a particular quote source for a particular security. The specification of quote source applies to all prices.

Hi Ben,
A follow-up question.
If the majority of my ticket symbols are from Yahoo Finance and 5-10 are from Google Finance (unique ticket symbols). How do I best get the Google Finance tickets updated?
Can I set the Quotes and Exchange Rate Extension to default use Yahoo and then manually run in again and mark the 5-10 ticket symbols in question for update?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You can make changes to the extension window and manually update as much as you would like.
I am unfamiliar with using google for updating price history. If you could provide a few ticker symbols that work on google I could play with the extension and see if we can improve the extension.

Hi Tom,
Thanks, I will let you know some tickets within a couple of days, as I am on a business trip at the moment.

Hi Tom,
Sorry for the delay on my feedback, it seems that when I checked the tickets on the stocks I believed that only was valid for Google it seems that they also are valid at Yahoo.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
