Security graph date always start from 2006
macOS version: 15.5
MD version: 2024.4 (5253)
Would like to echo the issue reported years ago without fixing:

1. After
- Removing existing historical data then manually importing new data set
- Ensuring no transaction occurs before 2006
The start date of security graph is always at 2006
2. Even creating a new secuirty has the same result

There is SOMEWHERE an entry from 2006 which you have to find and delete.
I have entries going back to the early 1990s. If I delete many of them (using Toolbox) there is still a graph with a long left tail, just as you have.
If I find and eliminate everything early on (initial values, history data, whatever) the graph moves to the "new" (though long ago entered) date as the graph start date.
My knowledge of the issue is a bit different, but informed. I want to KEEP data back to "2006" but be able to say "start at 20xx"... which cannot be currently done as a default.

If the workaround of this issue is deleting existing records, which might disrupt current balance, I would say this is the bug IK should fix

It is not deleting existing records, it is deleting security history records, which do not affect transactions themselves.

If so, and I trust you Stuart, can we get a parameter to assign a start date for these graphs versus whatever the program decides?
