I have an annuity account with 4 different annuities in it. How do I enter them so that they show the $ value? Thank you.

    Typically you would do something like create a security for each annuity and use a buy transaction to set them up if you are using an Investment account.

    Thanks, but when I treat them as a security they do not show up in Portfolio View.  ??

    It sounds like there is no buy transactions for them in the Investment account.

    You have to first create the security, then associate with the investment account.

    Only after you did this will you be able to enter Investment type transactions.

    Without any securities being associated with an account the only valid action type is XFR.
