Money Market cost basis
For the last quarter I had some cash interest (amount is the only thing you can enter) and some dividends reinvested in the money market. When I look at PORTFIO VIEW, it shows a cost/share of $1.01,, but if you click on the money market, every transaction (except cash interest) shows $1. So how is MD calculating $1.01? I changed the cash interest to DIV and then MISCINC, but neither works to fix the valuation.

Hi monty,
Buys and DivReinvest are the only 2 types of Actions that I use for MM Funds.
Try entering the accrued interest as a DivReinvest txn.

My mistake. I should have said DIVREINVEST. To clarify, I’ve tried MiscInc, Div, and DivReinvest, but all result in MD calculating a value other than $1.

Every entry shows $1. MD says it is now $1.02 (when the interest to DivReinvest).

Hi monty,
Thank you for the screenshot.
The 3 DivReinvest txns shown in the screenshot show 0 shares bought with the dividend. The number of shares bought 'should' equal the total value of the txn.
