Just can't get Sync to work now!

I've been using MD 2017 since beginning of year and syncing successfully via dropbox. About a month ago the sync stopped working between my desktop and out to my ipad and iphone. I'm using Windows 10.

I have tried switching off sync and re-enabling it, then I tried moving and renaming my dropbox sync file in the hopes that MD would create a new one which it did but the ipad and iphone still can't find the folder to sync with. On both devices I get the 'Select file to sync' page (see attached) with the twirly going round and round - but then nothing. I've deleted the apps on both devices and re-installed but I still get the same result - zippo!!
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
John

I am not support staff, just a user.

You don’t state what build of Moneydance 2017 you have on your computers. You can check version/build under HELP – ABOUT MONYDANCE.

At a guess see this article and post again if this is not the issue http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/older-versions/dropbox-connection-p...

    Hope this helps

    Thanks Derek,
I am using the latest build but I stumbled on what I think was part of the solution. I realised that the Dropbox app had somehow uninstalled on my iPhone, so reinstalled it and suddenly the syncing started working. This may have been a coincidence since prior to that it had not been syncing on the iPad either although the Dropbox app was installed, but now it's syncing on both and working fine.
    thanks for your help 
