You can set up Moneydance to sync between computers running windows, Mac OS and Linux as well as syncing to Android and iDevices. The only thing I would recommend is not having more than two devices running Moneydance at any one time. You will need at least a free Dropbox account. As I recommend using the “Dropbox Folder” method of syncing you will need Dropbox client loaded on your computers. See these articles http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data

    For other information see http://help.infinitekind.com/kb

    Try thing out for yourself.
    Download from https://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software
Downloaded version of Moneydance is a full working version with the only limit being a maximum of 100 manually entered transactions, with no time limit. Imported files from other financial programs and your bank have no limit on imports. If you decided to purchase you are sent a key by email that unlocks the 100-manual transaction limit. If after testing with this free trial version you purchase and change your mind see the 90 day money back guaranty at https://infinitekind.com/refunds
For the future Moneydance never sunsets the version it releases. So, you don’t have to upgrade. If you won’t to upgrade the next version is free (say 2015 to 2017) and from then on you get a 50% discount. All upgrades within a version are free.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for that , I will read the links. However I think I must be too out of touch because I see a page in moneydance but have no idea how to make it work or use it. I am hoping I can enter my bank accounts and they will update automatically, investments etc and enter spends on my phone as I go. I think these things are supposed to be intuitive but perhaps I am from a bygone era where a book took one step by step. I was hoping to find some you tube tutorials but no such luck. Perhaps there is an idiots guide ? Thanks Derek, ill try the links you sent now. Nick

    Hi nickhowes

Time passes, Moneydance has been upgraded from 2017 to 2019 so links change.
New links in the same order as my original post.
