New transactions not syncing, but existing ones are ... ?!?!?
MD seems to be syncing from the iPod App to the Desktop App on changes made to EXISTING transactions, but not from NEW transactions entered into the iPod App to the Desktop App.
I did a test where I altered one of my existing transactions in my iPod - I edited the memo line to read something else. When I launched MD, it said it was syncing. Then, I noticed the altered memo appeared in my desktop App, but none of my NEW transactions I entered on the iPod appeared on the desktop app.
So I did another test. I entered a NEW fake transaction in my Desktop App and then relaunched MD on the iPod. It synced and lo and behold, the new transaction was there on the iPod, but still NONE of my new transactions I entered on the iPod are showing up in the Desktop app.
So, my question is - how do I get the Desktop App to get the NEW transactions I enter on the iPod app?

Cheryl,
We've never heard of this issue before, so it'd be helpful for us to know some information
-What OS are you running on your computer, and what version on your iPod -Which version of the Moneydance iPod app are you running? -What versions of Java and Moneydance are you running? (most recent is 1.4) -What version of the network extension are you running (most recent is Build 9)
It would also be good if you could try to sync with app with the console window open (go to the Help->Console window menu to open it) and copy and paste the contents of the window below. Please clear the window before starting the sync so we don't get a bunch of extra data.
This will help us to determine what the cause of the issue might be. Thanks for your help,

Hi Angie,
Well, I went through everything step by step and this time couldn't get it
to NOT work - :)
I think the issue may have been with my constant opening and closing and
opening and closing to get a sync to occur, I may not have saved my
Moneydance desktop file in there after making some test changes. I think
that's why the sync did not reflect any changes, since upon re-opening, I
was likely opening the older file without the changes I was attempting to
sync. I could promise you it didn't sync the new transactions I made on
the iPod while doing all this, but now it seems to be working just fine.
I don't know... sometimes software has a mind of it's own!!
I'll use the procedure you gave me and let you know if I have any problems
from here on out.
