IPhone 4.1 (8B117) not syncing

App has not synced sync 23rd.

Starting Moneydance 2010r3 (751)
Settings Folder: /Users/acutshall/.moneydance
OS: Mac OS X 10.6.4 x86_64
Java: 1.6.0_22 (Apple Inc.)
svc added: Anthony Cutshall�s iPhone type:mdncsync.tcp.local.
requested service info

My solution.....I removed the app from Iphone ( not that I want to do this every time I want to sync) and shut off phone
-removed the device from sync console and closed app -reinstalled app on phone -opened desktop app and console -opened app on Iphone -clicked add/setup from desktop console , added code from phone

My phone synced :)
I will not know if this is a lasting solution until I try again tomorrow.

   Acutshall,

   I hope it works well for you tomorrow as well, clearly it's not the solution you want to use every time. If it doesn't, the first thing I would suggest is to try what I do to make my iPod touch Moneydance app sync. (I get the same "requested service info" console message.) It's what I have to do every time I sync, but it works flawlessly when I follow this routine.

   1. Open the Moneydance desktop program and open the console window
   2. Open the Moneydance app on your iPhone and wait to see the "requested service info" message
   3. Close the Moneydance app on your iPhone
   4. Open the Moneydance app on your iPhone and wait for about 30 seconds
   5. Voila! The sync occurs!

   I have no idea why this works, and we are working on a new syncing method which we expect will be much simpler and more consistent. Please let me know if this makes the sync work for you, if not we'll move on the other other troubleshooting possibilities.
