Hi I have two Windows7 computers where I do sync My Moneydance with the Dropbox folder and everything work fine.
Both are at Version 2017.10. Bought a MAC and bought the Moneydance on the App Store, same version, 2017.10

However the Sync Dropbox folder does not work on the Mac.
An unexpected error occurred java.lang.Exception: Sync Folder does not exist.

Of course the .Moneydancesync has been selected to be sync with dropbox, and the .Moneydance is hidden on the Mac.

You help is much appreciated since the MAC will be used to travel.

I am not support staff, just a user.

First as an existing Moneydance user your current licence means you can install Moneydance for free on your Mac. Don’t pay Apple, try to get a refund from them.
Second the Apple version of Moneydance does not support Dropbox Folder so uninstall it from your Mac and install 2017.10(1706) from
Make sure your windows computers are also running build 1706.
Then try to sync your Mac. From the welcome windows its “Create a New Account Set” then “Open Synced File”. If you are already in Moneydance its FILE – NEW – OPEN SYNCED FILE.
If you purchased 2017 then an upgrade to 2019 is free. If the purchase was for an earlier version you can get a 50% discount. Apple offer no such deals, you pay full price for each upgrade.

    Hope this helps
