However, Sync Settings does not give me that option. Certain I did this, though I do not recall the exact sequence of events. In the end, I want to be able to enter transactions on my MAC, my Windows PC, and have reference to the file via iPhone. I've seen reference to "Primary" and "Secondary" sync'ing, and a Python script to change it, but the instructions to run the script are no longer applicable for v2019.3 (1880) (which I am running both on Mac and PC. Bottom line, I need to turn on sync. Suggestions? <p>With a secondary data set the syncing method is fixed, greyed out and cannot be change. You get the same result after restoring a secondary computer Moneydance backup. On completion of the following process make sure the auto backups for the primary and secondary computers are not set to use the same location if you are say using Dropbox or other shared folders.</p>
<p>First do an EXPORT - BACKUP in case something goes Wrong.</p>
<p>To convert a secondary data set to a primary data set you need to run the attached script md2017_convert_secondary_to_master.py in Moneydance 2019. Don’t worry it states 2017.</p>
<p>With your data set open click WINDOW - SHOW MONEYBOT CONSOLE use OPEN SCRIPT and highlight the script click OPEN then click RUN. Wait for the script to complete its run, it can take a minute. Close and reopen Moneydance. You should now be able to change the syncing method.</p>
