iPhone App loses Memo field after sync
My iPhone Moneydance app erases the memo field during the sync. This only happens for entries that were logged using the iPhone app. Any idea why this is happening?
My desktop is running Moneydance 2010r3 (751) on Windows 7 64
bit.

Exact same issue here with iPad (latest App) and Macbook (OS 10.7.2) running MD 2011r2 (803). The "double save" solution works to keep the memo field intact during the Sync.

%#@($#!!! I sure wish I'd seen this (old) thread before going with Moneydance! I've been using it since October and, yep, it turns out that all my memo fields for transactions recorded on the iPhone are gone. These include VITAL transaction numbers, the loss of which may literally be disastrous for me in the future.
As far as I'm concerned, this "slight problem" (and its workaround) is something that it should have been your RESPONSIBILITY to publicize in all your readme files, not to mention the blurb in the AppStore, so that your users wouldn't fall into the same catastrophe I have. I've been tolerant of your sync problems (the fix for which was supposed to be going into beta testing "by Halloween," and is still "any day now"), but this carelessness on the part of preserving users' important financial data is unforgivable.

Hi Everyone,
I'm very sorry for our delay in fixing this bug. We've just submitted a new version of the app to the App Store, and it includes a fix for this. Pending approval by Apple, we expect the updated app to available in about a week.
