Password protection between two synced computers
I have a password on my MD file.
I recently set up my spouse's computer as a synced computer.
It does not appear to have a password.
Before I delve into whether I did that and have to remember, is the password independent between the two computers (i.e. I have to set up a password on her computer as well...) if so can it be unique?
I understand there are a lot of profile settings that are independent, like hiding accounts on the left bar, I don't know about password.
Is there a knowledge base article showing what items are synced vs. what items are independent?

Hi dantdavis,
I'm not from MD Support, but here is a link to the KB article that has the info that you requested (Passwords and preferences aren't transferred).
"When you share the file between systems in this way - the Master Password on the original system will not be transferred. The password that you set to open data, is a password just for the specific computer or mobile device...."
