Sync Problem with 2021 Version

I recently upgraded to Moneydance 2021 and now I cannot seem to sync.
I installed the version and then imported my account from a back up but now I cannot get the file to sync.
I click on syncing but it won't let me do anything and just says 'don't sync' with no dropdown list to choose any other option so obviously I have done something wrong somewhere.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to do?

    I think importing from a backup broke your sync. I almost did that recently and was warned that sync would be broken and it would have to be reestablished.

    The reasoning is that the backup is already out of sync, so MD stops syncing.

    I don't know how to reestablish syncing (someone else can probably help), but this may be the reason you have the issue. So I'm pointing in the right direction I think, but I don't have a solution for you, personally.

    When you upgraded did you restore from a backup or perhaps from a secondary / sync copy? If so then you have to run a script to fix this. Let us know?

    Run this script only if the following are all true:

    - You have backed up your dataset
    - The Sync option is not available to you
    - You recently restored from a backup and you want to turn sync on

    Hi Stuart
    I restored from an already synced backup.
    I have the script but how to you run it?
    I doubled clicked on it and it told me there wasn't a program on my PC to run it.

    Run moneydance
    Menu Window Show Moneybot
    Open (filename)
    Click RUN
    Ignore the two dylib messages and press bin.
    Hey presto
