Replacing ipad - reestablish syncing.
I have an older ipad. I just got a new ipad for Chrstmas.
The issue, usually is passwords, Apple doesn't like to move them from ipad to new ipad.
So, now I open moneydance and it just sort of sits there. No syncing or anything like that. There was a quick bit about dropbox which makes sense, but then of course it is quickly gone.
Any knowledgebase article on reestablishing syncing to a new ipad?

An ipad is always a secondary machine, so it should just be the standard instructions for adding such to the syncing relationship.

the main problem seems to be with a new ipad, the apps get "stuff" from the old ipad, and I'm having trouble reestablishing the dropbox link.
I'll work on it.

ok got it, but it's pretty obvious this ios app hasn't been changed in a while, and I had to realize what areas to tap, and what to reestablish.
So, ok, I'm good, but this process could be improved.

Also the device limit thing is still a thing. I know it isn't supposed to be.
Gotta find a way to remove devices from dropbox.

Mobile devices will not use up the Dropbox limit provided you do not install the Dropbox client.

It;s likely the dropbox client is installed, and this is now a new ipad. Is there an easy way to remove the client? (yeah, I'll check it out)

Answering my own question - Dropbox limited logged in devices to 3 in March 2019.
I had 4, and kept four being grandfathered in. But this new ipad can't login (I'm not worried about MD in this case) so had to delete TWO devices to get this one logged in.
So,yes, mentioning to not install the dropbox client to get MD syncing working is good advice at this point.
