Syncing data on iPhone over to iMac

I just had a problem with my iMac which has meant that it has had to be set back to factory settings. I have installed a new copy of Moneydance onto the iMac, but how do I now sync/restore the data from my iPhone to the iMac

    What version of MD?

    Are you sure you don't have a backup of the dataset - perhaps on Time machine?

    If not:
    - I am assuming that you are on a recent version? - Moneydance, welcome screen, Create a new account set, Open Synced File... I hope you know your Sync password...??
