Bug report? Android App not displaying when users clicks icon (see screenshot)

Hi Team - I am reporting a bug with new Android app in case you were not aware of it. If anyone else has noticed this please let the devs know.

In short, sometimes when I click on the app it will not display even though the app is open in memory (i.e. the list of last used apps). The screen flashes but the app does not display. The workaround is to remove the App from memory (the list of last used Apps) and then re-open it (it then opens immediately). FYI I am using a Samsung S10 Plus on the latest firmware. If I can work out a consistent cause/trigger I will let you know but I haven't figured it out yet.

BTW, for the record, I really like the new App. Yes there are teething issues (there always are) but I find it much faster to sync and it looks much nicer than the old one. So from my point of view, I say great job Moneydance Devs.

   UPDATE: I have a Screenshot from my Andriod phone showing the app in the "Last used App" list. As you can see the app seems to have crashed as it is no longer displaying the Accounts and the Accounts Category totals are "Total: bbb"

   Hi Simon,

   Sorry to hear about the issue you're encountering.

   Unfortunately, some issues with the new Android mobile app were reported soon after its release. The development team are working to fix these problems, but in the meantime, if you wish to revert to the previous version of the app, we have reinstated it as a "beta" release.

   A beta of the Android version is now available for download here - at bottom right of the page, or via Google Play.

   You can subscribe to the Google Play services beta using a web browser, or directly through your device. After you've signed up it will be automatically downloaded on all devices using the Google account you signed up with. After re-starting your device, you will be running the beta version.

   I flagged this discussion so you will be notified as soon as a new repaired version of the Android App has been released.

   Thank you for the reply and no need to apologise - I LOVE Moneydance and I think the new App is MUCH better than the old app. It looks better and syncs much faster. I just wanted to help the DEV team out by reporting bugs in case this was due to my phone etc.

   Thanks for your support within Moneydance! We would like to update you that the new Moneydance Android version 2021.2 (92) has been recently released within Google Playstore, which should resolve the layout problem as well as a few other issues in the recent release.

   2021.2 is now available as a release version on Play Store.
   Updated my Android 6.0.1 phone and the truncated values I was experiencing are fixed for me.
   But I want be updating my Android 11 as I would lose feature I have with beta 2021.1(76), namely.
   Main screen
   1. Bank Account total.
   2. Credit Card total.

   Within an account
   1. Search box.
   2. For entering transactions an improved calendar.
   3. All transactions in an account rather than 365 days worth.

   Settings
   1. App version and build number. Gets confusing as to what is installed without this.
   2. Sync Passphrase.

   I know for many users 2021.1(76) created problems, hence 2021.2 but for me it worked without issues. Sean has said he will be working on new beta releases to add these features back but without the bugs some users experienced.
