Do I have to use drop BOX to sync or CAN I use iCloud thanks Richard

   Hi Richard,
   Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

   Dropbox is required for setting up syncing among your devices.
   When navigating to File->Syncing you will find several sync methods and it might be useful for you to get familiar with the way they work:

   With "Dropbox Connection" Moneydance uses the Dropbox API to talk to the Dropbox service directly. So, you don't need to have Dropbox actually installed on your computer, but you do need to be online when Moneydance is running in order for changes to be synced.

   With "Drobox Folder" Moneydance will just read and write files to your Dropbox folder on your computer, which means that you need to have Dropbox installed and running, but you don't need to be online in order for Moneydance to read and write the changes.

   Hi maddy thank you for answering my recent queries I’ve managed to sync my 3 apple devices which I’m pleased about how do I down load my CURRENT bank statement from Lloyds bank I couldn’t find them in you drop down list they all appeared to be American?? Banks kind regards Richard

   I'm a fellow user.

   Direct Connect is only supported by a subset of U.S. Banks, there is currently no real equivalent for the rest of the world.

   It is necessary to download transaction files from your Bank's Internet Banking site and import these into Moneydance.

   The preferable format is OFX/QFX but QIF and many CSV files can also be imported.
