Many older transactions are missing

One of my bank accounts does not show transactions dated before 5/1/2021. All other accounts show transactions all the way back to when I started this file, June 2020.

I synch to an iPhone X and this one shows transactions dated back to June 2020.

I synch via DropBox.

I tried to restore the file by created a new file and synching, but the synch hung for at least 3 hours before I gave up and force quit MoneyDance. my local backups only go five days and these do not have the missing/hidden transactions.

Please help

   I'm a fellow user.

   In the account register in question ensure that the filter along the top is set to show "All" it sounds like it may be set to This Year.
