I've set up three accounts in the (latest stable) desktop version. After installing the iPhone app only one account is present on the iPhone, where are the other two?
Is it correct that there are no Preferences or other ways in the iPhone app to select one out of multiple accounts from the desktop version?

    Cortjan,

The Moneydance app only displays Bank, Credit, and Asset type accounts. What are the account types of the two accounts which do not display on the app? It would be especially helpful if you could send a screenshot of your account setup, viewable under Tools->Edit Accounts..

    Hi Angie,

    thanks for your reply.

The term "Account" can be interpreted in more than one way. Or I misused
    it!

What I meant is that I have three files about three financial entities
(family, work and a third one), each containing several Bank, Credit and
Asset "Accounts". To be even more precise: if I choose "File" from the
menubar on top of the screen, and then "Open Recent", I can pick one of
    the three files mentioned.

My problem is that I can only see one file, Family, in the app on the
iPhone. I can't see, and consequently enter transactions, in the other
two files (in the iPhone app that is).

I add a screen shot as requested but I don't think it covers my problem
because it only shows the content of one of the three files I have. The
second screen shot however shows the three files I use, of which only
one comes up in the iPhone app.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cortjan.
    Two screen shots follow:

    Hi

The IPhone app can only be synchronized with one Moneydance data file. I am afraid there is now way around this.

I am sorry that this does not meet your needs.
