syncing with iPhone
I recently moved moneydance from a PC to a laptop. Any change I make on moneydance on the iPhone still records on the PC but not onto the laptop. How do I change this?
Question 2: How do I change the size of the type in moneydance on the laptop (Windows 10)?

You probably need to reenable Sync if you used Restore from Backup.
Menu File/Syncing.
Is the Sync option greyed out?
Q2 makes no sense? Sorry?

Question 2 was that as an elderly person my eyesight is not brilliant and
on the PC the details on the screen in money dance were ear enough to see
with no problem.
On the Windows 10 laptop it looks like the text in moneydance is possibly
Calibri size 10 whereas I need Ariel 14 at the least. But I can see no
where I can change this.
On question 1 yes the sync was greyed out and I changed it to Dropbox
Folder and reset the password, but that seems to have made no difference.
And yes I set up money dance on the laptop from a backup.
Where is the live data normally stored? I want to keep the data in Dropbox
as I do move about from country to country try quite a lot whilst I still
can.

Q2 - Ah... Font size (etc)... MD Menu>Preferences>Appearance
Q1 - Did you restore using MD File>Restore from Backup? Or Did you restore using some other means?

Thanks for the info on adjusting the screen settings. That is now fine.
Any further ideas on how I can get the sync to work with my iPhone.
The iPhone still sync’s to my PC as I haven’t deleted moneydance on the PC yet. My iPhone is in contact with Dropbox but I cannot sync the moneybox on the iPhone to moneybox on the Windows 10 laptop.

Hi Stuart,
Since your data on the mobile device seems to be up-to-date, you could move from there.
To connect to one of the sync files that your mobile device is connected to:
You will need to open Moneydance on your laptop and click on File > New > Open Synced File, there, select the same sync method as it was originally setup on your primary computer (Dropbox Connection or Dropbox Folder). You will see a list of data files with the name of your base account, select the same as the one on your mobile device and you will see a prompt for the Passphrase (it should match your computer's) - to check navigate to File/Moneydance->Syncing->Show Passphrase, wait for the initial sync process to finalize and that will be it.
