Account deletion on MD not recognised by app
When I delete a redundant or experimental account in Moneydance and then do a sync, the account is still there on my iPod Touch. Cannot delete an account in the iPod either. Discovered that the left to right swipe works for deleting individual entries within an account, but this method does not work for deleting an account.

Alex,
I couldn't re-create this behavior, but it is unusual. Could you please let me know what OS you're running, the versions of Moneydance and Java (available in Help->Console window), and the version of the app you're using?
I also want to confirm that you're deleting the account, as opposed to removing it from the sidebar. Removing an account from the sidebar using the - button at the bottom left of your screen doesn't delete the account. To delete or edit accounts please go to Tools->Edit Accounts on the menu bar. You'll be able to see your full chart of accounts and confirm that they've actually been deleted.
Do let me know and we'll move forward with troubleshooting and other possible solutions.

Thanks Angie, you were correct - I thought I HAD deleted the account, but it appears that I must have done it in the way you suggested because when I pressed the + button they were still in the list, so I added them again to the sidebar and then deleted them in the right way. They are now deleted from my iPod Touch too.
I'll give myself a slap on the wrist because I should have known the + & - keys work in this way since I've been a Mac user for many years and this is a standard method of operation in many Mac apps.
Thanks for your help.
