Hi Craig,
Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay getting back to you. I’m afraid that your request for assistance was missed by the support team, and it’s only now we’ve been able to work through the backlog of older discussions. I’d like to provide assistance if you’re still in a position to work through these issues.
For further information on iCloud drive syncing, please refer to this article of the Knowledge Base:
"Syncing with Other Computers" here
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Hello Maddy
Thank you for your reply. It did read your recommend article which prompted the question…”any idea when this update will happen?”
iCloud Drive Syncing. For years, we’ve heard that many Apple customers would prefer to drop Dropbox and sync using the iCloud Drive that was built-in to their Macs. With this update, Moneydance for Mac can finally do precisely that. We’ll be releasing updates to the iPhone and iPad apps shortly. Dropbox syncing will still be available, but there will be an even more seamless sync setup experience for people immersed in the Apple ecosystem
Cheers
Craig

iCloud sync is only available between Macs and it can only be used with one iCloud account at the time, for now.
I've flagged this discussion and you will be notified as soon as this feature will be added to the iOS mobile app.

I used the Moneydance app years ago and was generally pleased with it, EXCEPT for syncing issues I was having. I have 4 Apple devices (Desktop, Laptop, iPad & iPhone) and I ended up wasting so much time trying to correct syncing problems that I quit Moneydance and moved my data to another program.
Recently I read somewhere that Moneydance 2022 had been upgraded to use iCloud for syncing and I was jumping for joy. I went to the website, purchased 2022 & downloaded it. I've spent a lot of time on the transfer of the data and reconciling it only to find here & now that you DO NOT HAVE iCLOUD SYNCING for iOS devices.
That's ridiculous and it borders on false advertising. WHEN will this problem be corrected???

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi ejcom
A post by support yesterday suggested that there was no ETA for iCloud on iPhone or iPad. The only option currently available is a free Dropbox Account which works great across all platforms Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android.

I'm really sorry to hear your disappointment but this information is advertised not only in this article of the Knowledge Base about "Syncing with Mobile App" but it is also included in this blog page.
As derekkent23 suggested in post 5 of this thread the best way for syncing with the mobile app, for the time being, is though Dropbox.
Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Maddy:
I presume only 1 sync method can be used; I couldn’t use Dropbox for the iPhone & iPad and iCloud for the 2 computers. In that case, I’ll stick with iCloud and just not use Moneydance on the phone & iPad until the iOS upgrade is available. Is it possible I could get a notification when the iOS is available?

That is correct, Ed!
When you navigate to File->Syncing you can only choose one sync method at the time. In your case, since you are syncing with some mobile devices and also two computers, the best would be to select Dropbox Folder.
To clarify, with "Dropbox Folder" Moneydance will just read and write files to your Dropbox folder on your computer, which means that you need to have Dropbox installed and running, but you don't need to be online in order for Moneydance to read and write the changes. This method is rather fast and reliable especially when using the mobile app.
Finally, as per your request, I've flagged this discussion and you will be notified as soon as the iOS mobile app will include iCloud drive sync .
