Stops Responding
When I go to file menu and hit sync Moneydance stops responding and I have to force close. It's not syncing with my Android through Dropbox.

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Mike
For other users or support to be able to help can you provide extra information.
What is your computer operating system.
What version and build of Moneydance are you running, e.g., 2022.1(4060).
When you say ‘stop responding’ do you mean the sync setting menu does not open or it opens and you can’t use the dropdown selection for the Sync Method OR?
One wild guess, if the Sync Setting menu is not appearing it may be appearing off screen. Click Alt Spacebar followed by the M key then use of the arrow keys, usually the left, to bring the missing window back on screen.
Hope this helps

Hi Mike,
I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers. Additionally, I thought it might be worth mentioning that Moneydance could stop syncing after moving your files to a location different to the default or after restoring from a backup, for instance.
If this doesn't seem to help please send us your Moneydance error logs? The logs should include information about what might be causing the problem.
They are saved on your computer as an errlog.txt file.
You can get to your error logs as follow:
1) navigate to Help->Console Window to show the console log in a window
or
2) in the Finder, press ⌘⇧G and then copy and paste
~/Library/Containers/com.infinitekind.MoneydanceOSX/Data/Library/Application Support
into the field and press enter/return.At that point the finder will show an internal folder which contains the errlog.txt file which contains the log.
Finally you can paste the full content to your next reply on this thread
Thank you
