Trying to stop Plaid from downloading transactions

I opened Moneydance this morning and I purposely do not sync my checking account with Charles Schwab because it creates more problems than it is worth. This morning I couldn't figure out why it was taking so long to open and then I saw where it downloaded over 2300 transactions for my checking account which then messes up my balance. I went into Plaid (Moneydance +) and marked the account to not download. I had already removed online access for this account. I restored one of my backup files before this mess happened and then tried to open it again and the same thing keeps happening, it downloads the 2300 transactions and then things are perpetually screwed up. Help?

   Hello,

   If I'm understanding you correctly, it sounds like you disabled the connection correctly, but then you restored a backup file, and that backup file still had that connection set to be active. After restoring your backup, then try disabling your connection. Otherwise you're disabling the connection, but then always using a different data file in which that connection is still active.
