Sync is Stuck
I was trying to set up sync on Moneydance 2022 earlier, and at first I chose to sync via connection, but later decided I didn't want to do that. I removed the access on Dropbox, and went back to Moneydance to use Dropbox Folder, but now if I click File > Syncing, the program locks up and I can't do anything. I've let it sit for a while, and the lock up stops, but if I press Syncing again, it locks up again. I've tried rebooting and reinstalling. Any other suggestions?

I should probably add, this is on a Windows 10 64-bit machine.

I'm getting exactly the same issue, MD locks if I click on the syncing option.

I think you sould add this on windows 10

Hi Steve,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
I've attached a file called "convert_secondary_to_master.py" that should resolve this problem for you. Before using the file, you can take a backup of your Moneydance data set, using the File --> Export Backup.
To use the .py file, first save it to your computer and then follow these steps:
Once completed, navigate back to File --> Syncing, and you should now be able to select the required sync method.
Please let me know if you have any problems running the script, or if you continue to encounter issues .

Hi Maddy,
Ran the script as below, but MD still not syncing to DB, and if I click on
the Syncing option MD locks. Hadn't had a problem until last week.
