New computer
When I try to transfer my banking from my old computer to the new one it will not populate it. I even purchased the new program for the new computer and says the old program is not compatible and may be Malware. It has been pretty frustrating.

My drop box is full and I don't want to pay for it. I can download a back up to a thumb drive and it will not recognize the program. Please help me make this work.

For support or others to help you need to provide more data.
Post the following:
1. What is the computer operating systems of both of your computers.
2. What version/build e.g. 2022.3(4063) of Moneydance are you running on your old and new computer.
3. Did you follow the support article https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/file-locations-and-changes/mo...
If so at what point do things go wrong and what messages are displayed.

Another thought given the section you are posing in are you trying to use Moneydance internal sync engine with the syncing method Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection.
if so are you following the article https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data/sync...
If so provide more info on where it goes wrong.

Yes I followed the directions. It says that apple can not verify my version of money dance and that it might have malware. It’s the 2015 version.

You are not making yourself clear. You say ‘Yes I followed the directions.’ but I posted links two set of directions, which did you follow. I am not a Mac user but if you are trying to install Moneydance 2015 on a new Mac it is unlikely to work. You would need Moneydance 2022.
Can you give more detail?

The old computer has money dance 2015 and the new one has 2022. Air drop will not work have tried. Says old program is not verified by apple. I am giving up. No one has helped at all.

Is the basic fundamental way of moving to a new computer, from Moneydance 2017 and later it disables syncing and allows you to move a data set to a new machine as a standalone system.
With Moneydance 2015 data set it was only possible to share data by moving it to Dropbox, specifically you had to have installed the Dropbox client and have copied your data to the local Dropbox folder.
Did you copy your Moneydance 2015 data to this folder or were you only using the syncing function in Moneydance for the mobile client? As far as I recall Moneydance 2015 only supported IOS devices.
If you are syncing to an IOS device in Moneydance 2015 you should turn syncing off in Moneydance 2015.
That copy operation that the article talks about using to get the data to the new system is valid with Moneydance 2015, I would suggest keeping it simple and using something like a USB stick to copy it.
The Moneydance 2015 data layout is fundamentally compatible with 2022 and will not require any major conversion by Moneydance, it should just open with the newer version, once you have the data on the new machine.
Any Moneydance data that is on Dropbox is in likelihood no longer useful and can be deleted from Dropbox, before you were to recreate a syncing solution if you need one.
