When will there be an update to use iCloud on iOS versions

There was a notification that there would be an update to the iOS/iPadOS versions to allow for iCloud sync but that does not appear to be the case yet.

I switched over to iCloud synching and thought it would not be too long for the other updates so waited. I don't want to go back to Dropbox.

When do you anticipate the iCloud synch will be available for iOS/iPadOS?
