I have a new MacBook Pro 14 laptop. I have installed the Moneydance application on the MacBook Pro laptop. I followed the Recent Article "Syncing with Other Computers" and was able to connect to my Dropbox account where my Windows Laptop, iPad, and Android phone all Sync. I selected the .moneydance data file that appeared on the selection list from the Dropbox connection (correct name of database, too). The Moneydance database was then seen on the MacBook Pro just like it is in the Windows Laptop, iPad, and Android phone. However, when using the MacBook Pro, I entered a new transaction in one of the credit card accounts, it does not sync to the Windows Laptop, iPad, or Android phone. Likewise, when I entered a new transaction on my old Windows laptop, it did not sync with the new MacBook Pro laptop. The new transaction in the Windows laptop did sync with the iPad and Android phone, however. I am using the same version of Moneydance (2022.2 (4060)) on all devices. Can someone help me with this new setup with my new MacBook Pro laptop? Thank you! -- Brian W.

    Hi Brian,

We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

Where is the most up-to-date data stored?
From that device, navigate to File->Syncing->Show Passphrase.
Take note of it and check which sync method that device is using, e.g. Dropbox Folder.

On the computer that is not syncing correctly, you should navigate to File->Syncing->Don't Sync and restart Moneydance.
Then, simply navigate to File->New->Open Synced File. Finally select the same sync method and enter the same Passphrase as your primary computer.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.
