Using iPhone MD client with two MD files?

Hello,
I am currently running MD V2020.1 (1928) on iMac Mojave V10.14.6 w MD client on iPhone 11 Pro Max. Using Dropbox sync. I have two MD files I am using on iMac. I currently have iPhone app synched to one and want to add a second. How do I do that?

Secondly, I will be purchasing the newest MD and also upgrading MD app on iPhone. I want to continue to sync to these same two MD files. Can I upgrade MD version and will it automatically keep what I have setup w Dropbox in place? I am stuck at Mohave on this machine and my understanding all the new iOS client sync options require later Apple OS versions.

   The Mobile app does not support multiple files, you must stop syncing with one file by disconnecting from it and then set up the other.

   The Infinite Kind does not generally provide roadmap information about future enhancements, hence as a user like you I have no idea if this is even being considered.
