<p>I am trying to change my sync settings. I have previously used the dropbox connection from my Ubuntu Linux desktop and need to change the dropbox account I am connected to. When I select the menu item for the sync settings, the UI locks up with the menu item displayed and the app is non-responsive. I then need to kill the process from a command prompt to recover. I have tried the latest beta and it has the same issue. Please help.</p>

<p>Anyway, if you are on the primary and this is the good dataset, and you want to completely wipe sync and set it up again then load/install toolbox extension. Enable hacker mode. Hacker button. So wiping the sync settings got me a bit further. I managed to resurrect this. I try to avoid Dropbox folder so I do not need to install the Dropbox app as I always seem to be bumping up against the device limits.</p>
<p>I backed up my data from my Linux machine. Then I restored it into my Mac. From there I enabled iCloud-drive backup. I was then able to re-enable Dropbox connection backup and get everything synced to the new account.</p>
<p>Maybe that will be useful for someone else.</p></div>drew
